Before the kidney transplant, you must have received a dental consultation to ensure that all dental work would be completed before surgery. If you have dental pain , you should consult a dentist immediately. Before getting dental work done (including cleaning and polishing) you should check with your transplant team to see if you need to take antibiotics. After transplant proper dental hygiene should be maintained. You must brush your teeth properly atleast two times a day. Any dental problem should not be ignored
